Hemp Bliss Balls

These protein-packed bliss balls are much healthier than they taste! They may not look like much but they melt in your mouth like vanilla fudge. Hemp seeds are an incredibly nutritious source of protein and paired with the cashews and dates, these bites make for an excellent post-workout snack.

Here’s how to make them:

Coconut Vanilla Hemp Bliss Balls

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Raw Organic Cashews
  • 4 tbsp Virgin Coconut Oil
  • 1 cup Fresh Pitted Dates
  • 1 tsp Himalayan Salt
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla (alcohol-free)
  • 4 tbsp Raw Hemp Hearts

Instructions

  1. If your dates are not soft and fresh, soak in warm water for 5 minutes. Strain and dry.

  2. In a food processor or blender, chop cashews until ground to a powder.

  3. Add coconut oil, dates, and vanilla. Blend until fully mixed and paste forms.

  4. Add salt and add 2 tbsp of the hemp hearts and continue to blend until fully mixed.

  5. You should be able to form balls with the mixture. If it is too sticky, place in the fridge for 20 minutes. 

  6. Form tablespoon-sized balls and coat with the remainder of the hemp hearts.

  7. Place in freezer for 30 minutes and keep in fridge between servings. Enjoy!!
