Fresh home-grown sprouts

Course Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Sprouting seeds of your choice
  • 2 cups Filtered Water

Equipement needed

  • 1 Masson jar
  • 1 Cheese cloth or sprouting lid (see where you can find one below)

Instructions

  1. Let sprouting seeds sit in 2 cups of water for 6 hours or overnight.

  2. In the morning, drain, rinse and let sit for 6 hours or until the evening

  3. In the evening, rinse, drain and let sit for 6 hours or overnight.

  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for three to four days or until the tails of the sprouts have grown about two inches. 

  5. Once grown, keep in the fridge. Keeps for about four or five days.
